Privacy
How this website handles your information, under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Last updated 20 October 2026.
Who we are
Laboratory Services Laundry, trading as LS Laundry, 16-20 St Anne Street, Birkenhead CH41 3JU. Contact: 07729 903441 or accounts@lslaundry.co.uk.
What we collect, and why
- The quote form: your answers about what needs washing, how much and how often, your postcode, business name if you give it, your name, phone number and email. We use them only to reply about your quote. Lawful basis: steps at your request before a contract, and your consent.
- WhatsApp: if you choose "Send on WhatsApp", WhatsApp opens with your request filled in and you send it yourself. WhatsApp (Meta) then handles that message under its own privacy policy.
- Calls: handled by your phone provider.
Cleaning enquiries
Professional cleaning is carried out by our partner Hawarden (J&M Cleaners Wirral), not by LS Laundry. The cleaning page and the cleaning choice in the quote send you straight to Hawarden's WhatsApp or enquiry form. This website does not collect or keep anything you send them; Hawarden handles it under its own privacy notice.
The website assistant
The chat assistant is automated. What you type is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to produce a reply. Messages are not used to train models and are not kept by this website after the conversation. If you choose to send your details through the assistant, they go through the same route as the quote form. Please don't type bank or card details.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare hosts this site, runs the assistant, and provides Cloudflare Turnstile, the security check on the forms.
- Resend delivers form messages by email.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces. Loading a font sends your IP address to Google, which may process it outside the UK.
Photographs
The photographs on this site are licensed stock images from Unsplash, used to illustrate what we wash. They are not photographs of our premises, team or customers.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with your quote and any follow-up, then deleted. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent, by contacting us on 07729 903441. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
